BUCKLEY'S
CHANCE: Andy Baylor
CD Released 2003
MUSIC, WORDS, PARABLES, POEMS
AND PICTURES...they're all a' ringin' ...
stories old and new and half-forgotten dreams
... the soft breezes rattlin' through the lazy
trees ... the mountains, the plains and the seas
all seem to be a' singing ... and me? ... I'm
miles away, playing the fiddle at some wild dance
at midnight and I'm riding across the Black's
Spur on a cold morning just to see what's on the
other side. Me? ... I'm going down the long, long
road with the motor humming soft and following
the big old moon ... I'm hearing the sounds of
the streets and picking little ragtime tunes and
listening to old records and playing funk in a
bar in St Kilda ... One day I find myself at Mick's
place ... its hot.. .the mikes are on and we just
start a' rollin' ...
